Cumberland County Penn State Master Gardeners donate plants to HP Park

We received a wonderful donation of plants from the Penn State Extension – Master Gardeners of Cumberland and Perry Counties. These were leftovers from their recent plant sales. The plants were promptly planted throughout Heberlig Palmer Park.

Our raised bed garden now has basil, thyme, hot peppers, tomatillos, and tomatoes!
Our flower bed and Frog Alley pedestrian walk way have native grasses, lambs ear, black eyed susan, sunflower, lily of the valley, canna bulbs and some other unlabeled goodies!

We are so very grateful for this incredible donation. Each new donation to the park makes it a bit more beautiful and people are starting to notice the investment people are making in our community!
