**Update: The clean up will commence on 3/29 despite the rain later in the morning. We will accomplish as much work as we can while the weather holds out. Some of us may follow up on 4/5 to finish work but we will make an update after we see what we can accomplish****
After months of planning we are finally ready to get our hands dirty and work side by side with others in our community to do some Spring Cleaning in the park! We have organized a list of projects so everyone can help, no matter your age or ability. This is a park where children play so they should be able to help make their park better too so bring them along.
***Parking will be limited in the park. Please attempt to park on side streets or better yet, walk to bike to the park that day!***

About the HP Park Upgrade Plan:
Heberlig Palmer Park is a hidden park in Carlisle that is ripe with possibilities. Neighbors have worked since May 2013 to draft an upgrade plan that includes a walking path, natural playscapes, natural amphitheater, edible landscaping & fruit/nut trees, raised garden beds, brick grills, picnic tables, security camera, uplighting and renovated parking. It expands the park to provide recreational opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. Most elements should be installed in 2015.
