Taylor Wilmot is a student at Dickinson College who has spent the last 9 months researching the redevelopment of the Tire and Wheel plant. She interviewed not only the owners of the property but many local residents, former employees, as well as people from local churches and non-profits who are close to the property. This isn’t a presentation that will detail what exactly will go into that plot (no one knows that…yet) but this is a comprehensive look at how the community is affected by this transition and she will discuss some of the feedback she received through the interviews she participated it. Taylor took the time to meet with these people individually so she could understand the resident’s perspective through this process. I hope some of you will be able to make it out to see her presentation because she has put so much time and detail into her work.
