Carlisle considers closing police dispatch center, cutting lieutenant post

The Patriot News reports that Carlisle is considering closing its 911 dispatch center and giving the 911 dispatch duties to Cumberland County.  Carlisle is the only town in the county to have its own dispatch center.  Read the full article here. A follow up piece states that the borough manager, Matt Candland, is for this change although the Mayor, Doc Kronenberg, wants to keep the center.
