There has been talk for a year now that Carlisle might have an in-town bus service. It is not designed to follow a consistent route all day but instead would focus on getting people to work in the early morning, including stops to the warehouses on Ritner Highway. Midmorning would take it to medical facilities for people with appointments and then it would return to the loop for people leaving work. The evening would focus on retail facilities for shopping. This is all moving closer to actually happening as the Sentinel gives more details on funding and other logistics.
