Rep. Stephen Bloom (R-Cumberland) announced today that he will host the first of his 2013
series of ‘Coffee and Conversation’ town hall meetings on Thursday, March 28, at 7 p.m. at the Carlisle
Borough Hall, located at 53 West South Street in Carlisle.
“We’re tackling a full legislative agenda in Harrisburg this spring, with many important bills in the pipeline,
everything from delivering our third consecutive on-time balanced budget to improving conditions for our
job-creating small businesses to finally getting our taxpayers out of the liquor business by ending
Pennsylvania’s government-run alcohol monopoly,” Bloom said. “Coffee and Conversation is an
opportunity for the residents of the 199th District to talk about the issues that matter most to them in a casual
The meeting, planned to last approximately one hour, will feature an update by Bloom about current
legislative issues followed by an open conversation session where attendees will have the opportunity to ask
questions and further discuss the issues impacting the community.
‘Coffee and Conversation’ is free to attend; however, residents are asked to RSVP by Thursday, March 21.
