Carlisle homeowners along Fairground Avenue get buyout proposal

From the Patriot:

Homeowners along Fairground Avenue in Carlisle have been asked if they are willing to sell their homes for a development which, for now, remains a secret.

A local real estate agent has contacted owners to feel them out on potential sales. Some are considering a buyout. Others said they won’t move.

Their properties border the former Masland/Lear carpet plant, a portion of which was destroyed in a May 2 fire. Homes are valued between $45,000 and $75,000.
