Weeds in sidewalks & tree wells = Code violations

From the borough:

WEEDS ARE A BOROUGH CODES VIOLATION

& REFLECT POORLY ON YOUR BUSINESS

Weeds in the front of your building, in sidewalks, and including treewells, around traffic and meter posts, and along the curb/roadside, are a Borough Codes Violation.  It is the responsibility of the property owner to remove any weed, tree shoots, or unplanned plant growth.    Borough Codes officers will be canvassing Downtown Carlisle in the upcoming weeks and issuing citations for non-compliance.

Also, this unkept appareance directly reflects on your business and Downtown Carlisle as a whole.

Please do what is necessary to address this issue in front of, or on the sides

of your property to ensure compliance with Borough Codes.

If you have any questions regading the Codes or their enforcement, please call 717-240-6930.
