There is a new gang in town! No….not that kind of gang! They are an awesome group of peeps that help to keep Carlisle in motion by doing basic bike maintenance while giving bike riders a little training in teh process. The Pitt Street Bike Gang is a collective of bike mechanics, community members, and kids who are committed to fun, safe, and accessible alternative transportation. The Bike Gang provides basic maintenance and tune-ups for bikes at the Farmers on the Square market every Wednesday from 3pm-7pm, at the Presbyterian Church in Carlisle, PA.
Donations are welcome, but never required!
They do not currently do major repairs or provide new parts, but can help you make a plan to visit a local bike shop or order the parts you need.
Their mission is to celebrate safe, fun, and accessible biking for all ages by providing minor repairs and tune ups for those interested in getting back on their bike and taking on the town!
